We are selling a HAAS VM 3 vertical machining center from 2014. The VM (“Mold Maker”) series is designed for tool and die shops and mold manufacturing—it features a sturdier construction, a 12,000 rpm spindle, and a large table with a dense grid of T-slots.
Machine Description
The HAAS VM-3 features travel dimensions of 1,016 × 660 × 635 mm and a table measuring 1,372 × 635 mm with a dense network of T-slots, allowing even irregular workpieces to be clamped. The high-speed spindle, running at 12,000 rpm with a power output of 22.4 kW, is suitable for finishing contoured surfaces as well as for machining aluminum.
The machine is equipped with a HAAS control system and an automatic tool changer. There is a tool storage shelf on the side of the machine.
The machine is in operation at a manufacturing facility in the Czech Republic and can be seen in action.
