HAAS VF-5/40 – Vertical CNC Machining Center (manufactured in 2015)

VF 5 2

We are offering the popular HAAS VF-5/40 vertical machining center from 2015. Its large 1,270 mm travel in the X-axis, wide table, and robust 22.4 kW spindle make it a versatile machine for both single-piece and batch production.

Machine Description

The VF series is among the most widely used CNC machining centers in Europe—which means spare parts, service, and operators familiar with the machine are readily available. The VF-5/40 model combines a long X-axis travel of 1,270 mm with an extended Y-axis of 660 mm, allowing it to accommodate even larger workpieces or multiple workpieces at once.

The inline direct-drive spindle reaches 8,100 rpm and delivers 22.4 kW of power; it has a BT/CT 40 taper. The machine is equipped with a HAAS control system.

The machine is in operation at a manufacturing facility in the Czech Republic, and it can be seen in action.
