Machine Description
The FNGP 40 belongs to the most widely used series of tool milling machines on the Czech and European markets. Its cast-iron bed, cantilever design, and solid guideways ensure the machine’s long-term accuracy even during demanding machining of steel and cast iron. The vertical head can be swiveled within a range of ±90°, so in addition to conventional vertical milling, it can also handle chamfering and side operations without having to reclamp the workpiece.
The Heidenhain control system with shop-floor programming allows you to program common operations directly at the machine, without a CAM system—which saves the most time in single-piece production and fixture manufacturing. It includes an electronic handwheel for convenient positioning and adjustment.
